5.11 Tactical Rush 24 Back Pack (5 11) 311

Review for tactical rush back

Price was $103.01 - $335.52. I absolutely love it thus far. Although i haven't put it through any major abuse yet, it is hands down the most durable backpack i've ever owned. It's as tough, if not tougher, than the packs we were issued in the army. It's also loaded with compartments and features.

5.11 tactical rush 24 back pack Review (5 11)

Just got it last night, but have it loaded up already. Pack seems well made and should hopefully last a long time. My only complaint is the number of large pockets/sleeves, seems like some sectioning within the larger pockets would allow for better organization. And there are two large sleeves on the inside of the main pack against the back, which seem like could eat up a lot of space in the main pack which should be utilized for larger items. Still working on getting everything laid out though, and once i add some smaller loose pouches the layout may work fine. Overall, seems to be a really nice pack. And i can finally strap my molle rifle carrier to my pack. -D. Angelica

I have been looking for an everyday carry pack and chose this one. I was not disappointed! . Extremely roomy. This pack has lots of storage ability, not to mention molle. I carry 3-day supplies as well as my daily business with plenty room to spare. The pack is well built and should last a very long time. You can and a waist/hip belt to this pack. Using molle pouches you can easily extend you to a large load. Like the 5. 11 610 verticals. The hydration pocket is large enough to hold a bladder and level ii/iii soft panel. Suggest using the camelback antidote shorty. It fits like it was made for this pack. . One con: the two pockets top back are not really very helpful. You will not get much more then glasses and nitrile gloves in them.

Click to see Notice5.11 Tactical Rush 24 Back Pack (5 11)"*update 11-30-15*. I went on my day trip to universal studios in florida. I spent the day at both parks on my feet with the bag on my shoulders. My back was not at all sore at the end of the day. The when the bag was completely packed from buying crap i didnt need it was difficult to fit it into the park lockers. However, even when loaded down it fit fine under the seat on the airplane. . One thing i have found is if i am going to be wearing the bag for an extended period of time with my laptop inside of it, if i put it in the main pocket in one of the pouches it is easier to carry than if i place it in the water bladder pocket. I love this bag more every time i use it. . I am on day 3 of this bag. Youtube has hundreds of reviews of this bag. And they all pretty much state the same thing. The bag has a lot of space and lots of organization. I spent a few days watching videos of different load outs and different views on all of the pockets. I ended up with this bag because a few friends recommended 5. 11 as a great company that puts out a great product. . I started my search for a new backpack due to a trip that i am taking in a couple of months. I am going to universal studios, i will be on the road for a little under 24 hours. I need a bag that i can pack a change of clothes, a nikon d7000 and two lenses, a 13' macbook, an ipad mini, and food. The world of backpacks is wide and varietied, ( - that might not be a real word. ). I have an eddie bauer backpack that would be perfect for my needs. But that bag is about 7 years old and i can see light coming through tiny holes in the bottom of the bag. I wanted a "military" style bag. But i am not, nor have i ever been in the military and did not want to come off as someone pretending. So that means i did not want a camouflage pattern. The bag also needs to be able to be a carry on bag for plane travel. These are just a few, but main concerns for picking a new bag. . Here will be a list of how it fits my needs based on the list above. . 1) the main pocket will hold two sets of clothes easily. 2) there are several medium pouches in the main pocket. I will put two lenses in one pouch and the another will hold the camera body. 3) the bag has a hydration pack pocket. I will not be using a hydration pack with this bag as i use a camelbak when i am biking. It holds my laptop with plenty of room. Many reviews say that you should put some form of a closed cell foam into the bottom of the back to add some extra protection. 4) in the front admin pocket there is a zippered pocket that fits my ipad mini with water proof case with a little extra space. 5) i like to pack little packs of animal crackers and cheeze-its and cliff bars, those can fit anywhere. . I am using everything listed above except for the clothes as an "edc" (every day carry) bag. Even with the clothes i do not think i will have this bag filled more than half way. . I have added a few add ons. The bag is built to be customized as needed. There is a pretty large amount of aftermarket support for this style bag. The bag has webbing to attach external water bottle holders, ammo pouches, general purpose pouches, map holders, holsters, and just about anything else. One of the things that i was looking forward too was the velcro patches. I added a few flag patches, usa and maryland flags. I also put on some star wars patches. I bought a roll of double sided . 5" velcro and added more places to put velcro patches onto the webbing. I went crazy with that actually. I put on two large carabiners from my climbing harness. And lastly to break up the sold black color i put about 30' of neon orange paracord onto the bag. I wrapped the grab handles in paracord. That helped to soften up the grip handle. I also made a couple zipper pulls out of the orange cord. . A few future uses. . I go camping a couple times a year. I will have no problems loading everything into and on this bag. During the warmer months i do not pack a tent. I use a small hammock. But even when camping in the winter when the temps drop down to freezing or below i will have no problem attaching my tent and sleeping bag to the sides and bottom of the bag. I can not attest to how comfortable the bag will be at full weight, but the yolk style straps are the most comfortable straps i have ever used. . I will be using this bag to go rock climb. Whether i am climbing indoors, i can just clip my harness and shoes to the webbing on the bag. But this bag will handle a large volume of rope if i am climbing outside. . As stated earlier, i do travel by plane for work a few times a year. It would not be a problem to pack for a week and not need to take a checked bag. I will easily take a large amount of clothing. . One or two quarkie things. . There are upper compression straps. There are no lower compression straps. Had i not been researching backpacks i would not have known any different. But when you do not load the bag completely you want the bag compressed as much as possible to keep the weight close to your body. This makes it easier to carry for a longer period of time. Not having the lower compression straps means the contents of the bag can spread out in the bottom. But you can purchase clip on straps that will work. I have seen them at a wide price range, as low as $5 and upwards of $35 and more. I am going to play with paracord to make something if it becomes a problem. . Along the lines of the compression straps are a belt strap. I have used bags with these and they do help on longer hikes or climbing if your bag is loaded down. There are mounting points to add one latter. This is not by any means a deal breaker. Just it is not there. . The arm straps are comfortable and they have a chest strap to help keep the pack centered on you while hiking. They work fine for me so far. I am 6'2' and 210 pounds. Not a big guy, but not small. They use the webbing that is on the arm straps. The adjustments are about 1"-1. 5" apart from each other. It has not become a problem yet. If it does, then i will use more paracord to gap the difference between built in adjustments. Paracord can fix anything i have discovered. It is almost as useful as duct tape. . The bag is made of a heavy nylon, 1050d i think is the type. It is very stiff right out of the packaging. I am hoping it does soften up some. There is a hard plastic backing board in the hydration pack pocket. I am leaving it in there for now. As i have my laptop there i think it will add some extra protection. . The only negative i have seen so far. . There are drainage holes in the bottom of the bag. I understand the need for these. However, i know that i will set this bag on something wet, if not in small puddles. This is just inviting water into the bag. This is not anything bad enough to make me return the bag. . Bottom line. . I am very happy i bought this bag. For me, it is perfect for an every day use bag. Plus, i can use it to travel. It will get abused. I plan to update this review after my trip, and then again after a year or so. These reviews are so much better after the product has been used. I also want to get a body armor plate. They fit nicely into the slot for the hard plastic backer board. I do not plan on being shot, but it would be fun to have."

5.11 Tactical Rush 72 Backpack

I've been searching for months trying to find a good backpack for a three day outing. Finally it came down to this or the kelty redwing, but ultimately i went with this bag. I have to echo everything others have said with regard to the bags solid manufacturing, reinforced seams, adequately padded straps and tough material. What really sold me on the rush 72 versus the kelty was all of the organizational detail inside. There are numerous solid pockets with zippers, and open mesh pockets, with pockets sized for small items like pens, to larger items like a small axe or hatchet. I haven't yet acquired all the gear needed (times two) to go on an overnight trip, so i have yet to put the pack to actual use. For a momentary moderately weighted test fitting, i was pleased the bag's weight rode correctly on my hips, and that the waist band and shoulder straps padding felt appropriately thick. I also liked the pack's internal support structure, as it seemed to help distribute the weight sufficiently. Until i hike a few miles with the rush 72 loaded to the gills however, i can only hope the pack will still feel comfortable. One regret i did have, is that the sternum strap isn't adjustable vertically, so it felt on my experimental fittings like it was close to choking me. The only other negative i noticed was inside one of the side pockets, where the stitching went across a little fold of the pocket, preventing it from fully opening. When you buy mass produced products, little mishaps like these are going to slip through quality control, so i wasn't really bothered. I'd chosen the color grey to stay low key, but ultimately i just didn't care for it. But with the pocket issue and my color indecisiveness, i elected to return the bag for another. My boyfriend decided he liked the bag, so we ended up keeping it for him and ordering me another one. Sigh. If i only knew back then how such a seemingly simple process could turn into such an ordeal, i might've just kept this bag. But that saga will have to continue in the review for the next rush 72 i ordered for myself. :(. Update edit: duh. I can't make another separate review as all the reviews are combined for the different colors. As if the different colors didn't warrant separate reviews. I beg to differ! . . As mentioned above, i did immediately order another rush 72 in sandstone for myself. (i beg your patience here as i have a question for you, gentle readers, and i sincerely hope to hear from anyone who does own this backpack in sandstone. Because the pack i received had a tag that said "sandstone", but the bag was green! unmistakeably od green like fatigue's the military used to issue until they got silly with their computer chosen camouflage. I and my boyfriend are older military veterans and thus very familiar with od green. 5. 11 calls the color tac od and by their product photos my new "sandstone" pack just had to be mislabeled! grrr. I phoned 5. 11 customer service directly, and the rep agreed "sandstone" should be a light brown color. Shortly thereafter i got my return authorization from online store and back the bag went. Just to be safe, as some of online store's sellers are shady, i purchased the next bag directly from 5. 11. And. It too was od green with a "sandstone" tag. The color sandstone to me is evocative of, well, sand. 5. 11's product photos of the "sandstone" bag on their site appear definitively khaki or sand colored on both my window pc and boyfriend's android phone, as well as my ipad air 2, which ruled out color saturation differences across varying devices. With this unwanted green bag, i'm still thinking a gross mistake has occurred and accordingly i return the bag again. And with much gnashing of teeth (and maybe a little foot stomping), i open "sandstone" pack number two and find it also vividly green! . Desperately wanting a true sand color, i rinse and repeat the whole process, and of course the third "sandstone" bag was also od green! aaaaauuuuggghhhh! sorry, i need to take a deep breath here. :inhale-count to five-exhale: there. The rage wave is receding. . My third bag was returned and i'm trying one last time to get a 5. 11 rush 72 bag in a color i like. Only this time i'm ordering the dark earth color from online store and saving some money. . Hmph. I just checked something on the 5. 11 website while updating this review and there is a new photo of their "sandstone" bag, only now it appears od green; albeit not as vivid a green as the actual product. Nor is the bag anywhere close to the prior khaki hue they had pictured for "sandstone" previously! (if you're interested compare online store's sandstone color, as their photos haven't been changed like 5. 11s. )

Sized for a three-day excursion, the rush 72 backpacks is loaded with the features operators need and want. Designed by special operations combat veteran, kyle lamb of vtac, these backpacks come with two large compartments and a compression strap system that allows expandability depending upon how much gear you carry. The front section of the pack includes an organizer panel with two zippered mesh compartments; a large zippered pocket, a key fob and radio/magazine pockets with hook and loop straps. The main compartment has three mesh zippered pockets and a separate large cinch pocket. There are two full-length side pockets that can handle a variety of different items including large water bottles. The top of the backpack has a separate fleece lined eyeglass pocket and a smaller external zippered gear pocket. We've added molle-compatible webbing to the front and side of the pack, allowing you to attach a host of different 5. 11's slickstick accessory pouches. The padded shoulder straps also have molle-compatible webbing along with an adjustable sternum strap. The padded waist straps can be stowed away in hidden pockets and the padded back allows ventilation for those long hikes. We've also included a reinforced hydration pocket that allows you to add a hydration bladder for immediate access to water. We finished the pack off with a heavy-duty, nylon carry handle at the top. Constructed of water-resistant 1050-denier nylon, this pack is built to last. We use quality ykk zippers throughout and our high-impact plastic clips remain stable in all temperatures. We've added elastic keepers to secure the ends of all straps. Once you've got the pack adjusted to your size, you'll be able to secure the ends of all straps with these elastic keepers.

5.11 Tactical Rush 72 Backpack (5 11) FAQ.

Utterly utterly brilliant backpack! i'm glad i've got it. Before i use to carry two bags now everything goes in this 511. It's just perfect for my enduro rides, camping and stuff. That waist belt takes off all the wieght from your shoulders. It makes my 150-200 miles adventures easy. . Ride on! -Notice from E. Veronica, Saarland

The first thing i want to mention is that i put a regular army issue, 100 ounce hydration pack, in the hydration pocket of the bag. It takes a little bit of squeezing in there when it is completely filled, but haven't had any issues in regards to bursting or anything stupid like that. Again, this is the exact same hydration pack we get in the army, or the usual camelbaks they sell at. Well. Pretty much everywhere. Fits fine! . . Continuing on. . The picture attached is how i have my bag now. On the outside i have a basic "uniform build", as i call it with a flag, old unit patch and tab, as well as a nametape. On the molle system in front and center (the square velcro area), i have two small little ifak-style packs and a weapons cleaning kit for a "ar-15" styled weapon system. . On the front straps i have a uh, gerber strap cutter issued thing attached along with an ess eyewear case (obviously, i recommend these glasses to everyone, don't care if your shooting, cooking, driving, or on the computer, get one. ). . So anyway, i bought this bag for these very specific reasons; . . Rucking, handling heavy weight, and daily work. On board, i carry mininum 6 liters of water. Two 1. 5 bottles in each pocket, and the 3 liter hydration pack mentioned earlier. I hump with this thing pretty damn often. . I recommend looking into a better chest strap. The chest strap broke on me during an 18k ruck march and i am not happy about that. I gave this thing 5 stars because im one of those lazy ones that grab on to my chest strap when i'm tired and rest my hands on it, pulling it down, this is how it broke. Pretty sure it's entirely my fault. Before this my right side chest strap would come off sometimes as i am putting on, or taking off the bag. . I am a security patrol supervisor and i deal with a lot of crap. Plugging tires, doing incident reports, getting into little scuffles with sleeping people. Hard life. Anyway, i have a lot of stuff i have to carry with me and the bag helps out a lot. . So all in all, it exceeds my expectations for the bag. It is actually slightly larger than what i thought it would be, though i am totally happy with this big bastard. Because. It is big. People will say. . Holy crap! ? the hell? you live outta that thing or what? of which you can sound off with a cheerful, "damn right i do! ". . Seriously though, i have a sog bag. Also combat veteran, all that stuff. We veterans (as you see everywhere else in the reviews) know our damn bags. Yeah, if your thinkin it, you think you want it, get it. You can beat me up afterwards if you dislike it, thats on me.

- Q. JuliaOriginaly found this bag at cabella's, and found a somkin' deal at online store, so it was a no brainer, as far as that goes. I don't use this bag as i suspect most will-i'm a railrader and pack all my needed items (lantern, cold/wet weather gear, computer, rule books, three days worh of clothes, etc. ), but i've done 16 years in the military, so i can appreciate somewhat the finer points in back packs, day bags, rucksacks, and the like. The last pack i had in the military was back in '04, and it was a huge leap from the alice pack i started with. That being said, i love this bag. I'm just as hard on it working for the railroad as i would be in the field, maybe even more so. It's well built (no walmart school bag, this), thick cordra nylon, filled with pockets and straps everywhere. With a little practice, everything is within easy reach, the only problem being which pocket you want to use. I've got no complaints so far, and i've been using it daily now for around a month

This is a very "tactical" bag, well packed when arrival; a lot of pockets, so that my stuff won't be messy together. The color is good that it won't get that much heat from the sun, causing the stuff inside hot, or your body hot. I got this for my road trip, hiking. And i like it a lot so far. However, there are some parts you may need to know before you buy it, if they may become your concern:. 1. This empty bag is about 5lb, i believe that this bag being really strong is because of the material and the back support design, which you can see in the video introduction; . 2. The part of the should strap, which is close to your neck, is about 10cm wide, if your have a strong neck, it may rub your skin, making you uncomfortable, especially when you are sweaty; . 3. The pocket on the very top, which was introduced as a sunglasses pocket, i don't think it is wide enough for me to put my sunglasses in, but you can use it for other purposes. Will see what may happen when i am using it.

The F.A.Q. for 5.11 tactical rush 24 back pack

This is an excellent backpack. I love the quality. It is very strong and we'll made. I have the used the 72 hr rush for military training and camping for 4 years and it's still going strong. I'm sure the 24 hr rush will be just as sturdy. I highly recommend this product. Excellent for hiking, school, overnight bag, etc. Great backpack

Love having this pack. I'm guy who hikes on the regular basis, goes to the gym, and travels frequently. It's a great pack to have for those reasons and more. I dropped this sucker in the river and it went down stream about 1/4 of a mile, no rips or anything! i plan on buying the rush 72 next because i have loved the quality of 5. 11, and i need a larger 2-3 day hiking backpack and for longer traveling excursions. . . -dan

This has become my man purse. There's just so much i can pack into it, there's no reason no to take it everywhere! . . First off, this bag easily houses my mobile office with room to spare. I keep pens, staplers, batteries and so much other crap that just stays in there because there's so much room. My 17. 3" laptop also fits in. Barely. On top of that i can also pack clothes, toiletries and misc items. . I also use this bag as a carry-on while traveling, and as my only bag on short trips. This bag has endured tons of travel and daily abuse over the past year and shows no wear at all. Its also the perfect size as it is about the size of a regular backpack, so it doesn't call too much attention to itself with all the crap that is usually in there. . I got this bag because i needed more space for travel, but i wanted to avoid getting a rucksack as the larger bags are targeted more often for theft. This bag is a perfect compromise, while giving me plenty of organization with all of the compartments.

Unlike most reviewers, i am a road warrior who travels professionally about 75% of the time. Hopefully, my review can help another group of users. I was looking for a solid pack to replace my well worn (but still serviceable) swiss gear bag. Mine is the one that looks like every other edc bag on the damn plane. I wanted a bag with more storage pockets and a different look. As a business traveler, i did not want to look like i was going to or returning from maneuvers, and the double tap looked like it might be a little less tactical in appearance than the other options for the 24. . I was a little concerned that it would be larger than needed, but the 24 seems only slightly larger than the swiss bag. Like other reviewers, i tend to be very anal when it comes to packing for a trip, especially if i am headed across the pond for a week or two. The other reviews of the 24 sold me. I have had the bag about a week and love it. It has compartments in compartments in compartments! this is where the swiss bag fell short. While it has several pockets, it wasn't enough to allow me to segregate my chargers, devices, notebooks, id cards, extra clothes (i often check my roller board, so need one set of clothes jic), rain gear, thumb drives, passport, blank i-95 forms, munchies, flashlight, etc, etc, etc. . It's currently loaded for domestic warm weather travel, so is almost empty by caparison to a winter trip to northern europe. . Btw - i am combat arms vet and understand how a lot of what tactical pros (military, first responder, etc) are looking for in a bag. On weekend, a lot of office gear comes out and gets replaced with hiking and shooting gear.

I am an emt and a paramedic student. Needless to say i beat up my backpacks. My last 2 swiss-gear backpacks lasted me 2 months each. 5. 11 is legendary and most ambulance services use their gear because they know it will last. . I am 6'2 -205 and i have broad shoulders and it fits me perfectly. . My only complaint is the chest straps. I had to cut mine off because i was never using them and they were getting in the way. I wish they were detachable. . I have been using it for a few months and it goes with me everywhere. No quality issues at all!

H. Shawna, Maryland says

So far this bag is pretty good, i use it for work/hiking. It's pretty big and deep and water proof so definitely it's a plus. I'm going to be adding my attachments to it soon. I've received multiple compliments so far. It was worth the money. I like how it has multiple compartments .

I've had this backpack for a year now, using it as a university student. . Pros:. - generally good build quality, great zippers. - hydration pocket fits my laptop perfectly. - lots of little pockets to organize things. - opens flat for packing. - small enough when not over-packed that i've gotten away with taking it as a 'personal item' in addition to carry-on luggage. - $30 cheaper than the 5. 11 website. . Cons:. - the seam of the yoke, where it meets the right strap has started to separate. - no good place for a larger water bottle. I can't fit a contigo in the side pockets, and there's not really anywhere else other than the main compartment. - i'm concerned about the warranty for this product, as numerous reviewers of 5. 11 products have had difficulty exercising their warranty coverage. I've tried getting support through their website in the past, and they failed to respond. . Picture shows a close-up of the material, and the break in the yoke seam

P. Moore, North Dakota says

I have now had the pack for several months. I up graded from an maxpedition falcon ii. I love the falcon, but needed more room. I am 5'11 inches, 210 lbs. Good shape. The power of the black 5. 11 is perfect for my edc. I teach at a university and like to be prepared when away from home. I have the black pach which is less visible for an edc. I have the 5. 11 med pouch molled on for easy access, i also a 5. 11 h2o carrier. In addition, the med pouch serves to hold the pack upright when placed on the ground. It is placed lower part of back central on pack. Pros: construction, organizational pockets (wow! ), amount of storage, molle straps, how it carries, appearence. Cons: there was no waist strap. I had to customized one. , potential of overload. Pack wisely. I would have better placement on compression straps to secure the load.

Rush 24 vs. Rush 12 (college student's perspective). . Okay so i purchased both the rush 24 (left) and rush 12 (right) and compared how each backpack would hold up during the day. . I commute 1 hour to my university and i have class from around 10am to 830pm. I carry the following with me; . - 13in macbook air / charger. - 4 notebooks. - 1 or 2 books. - 2 meals from home in plastic tupperware. - calculator / pencils / pens. - 2 bottles of tea in glass bottles i drink for health reasons. - flashlight / paracord / pocket knife. . Now i did fit all that stuff in the rush 12 besides the glass bottles, but it was extremely tight and i had no where to put my bottles which is an issue. It felt kind of strange on my back like it was almost too small and the rubber pads where rubbing on my back. I put all that in the in the rush 24 and i had a decent amount of room left over, maybe for a sweater or something else along those lines. The 24 is not that big. It's kinda big, but not obnoxious. I saw other students around campus had even bigger backpacks. *the rush 12 would be a great school backpack if you lived on campus or didn't bring your own lunches from home. *. . Overall the build quality is great on both backpacks and seems like it will last a long time.

K. Anonymous, West Sussex says

I would have given the pack 5 stars if it had additional cinch straps and a waist belt. The pack hold everything i carry daily and has room to spare. Just the right size for my uses. Will also use as luggage. Great construction, very durable.

E. Donna, Herefordshire

I use this bag every day since i bough it last year, and it looks great and has held up! what more can i say, it's a 511 bag, and worth every penny! i trust this to keep all my gear safe and together.

E. Alma, Utah says

I struggled to find a bag large and organized enough to carry everything and that i could wear in uniform and was reasonably priced. My existing bag was too small and pump bags were too pricey/not black/too small. Ordered the rush 24 and it works great. Medela pisa pump, pump parts, cooler, bottles, lunch, snacks, hands free bra, and books all fit nicely and are easily organized and accessed without taking everything out of the bag. . Side note- my husband used his moab 6 as a daily carry for over a year and now using as a diaper bag- it's held up well and is a great size. Other side note- the cooler bag is from fresh catch on oahu- amazing poke and seared ahi. . Pros. - fits afi uniform standards. - pricey for a backpack but better than most pump bags and better construction. - comfortable carry- weight better distributed on my shoulders than with old bag. - not too big for a slim (but tall) woman to carry. - easy access and organization, still have plenty of pockets to fill. - don't have to take the pump out to use. . Cons. - not many pictures on the website- i wasn't sure how big this would look on a woman or how everything would fit. I almost ordered the 12 but after measuring realized it wasn't much bigger than my existing bag, glad i ordered the 24. - side pockets aren't great for a tall water bottle/tricky to get in. Works well for my cover and keys though. - not a true clamshell like the 12, the zipper stops a few inches up which is only a problem if there is lot/big items in the front pocket. I do wish it was a true clamshell though, this is the biggest disappointment so far. - fleece lined pocket at the top is great for cell phone but with a protective case on a large phone it almost doesn't fit. Wish the newer iphones weren't so big.

J. Susan, New Mexico

My husband works in the oilfield and needed a pack to carry all of his gear, water, and food. I gave him my old backpack at first. I had had this thing since middle school, had taken it hiking through scotland and canada, etc. It was one tough bag. He used it up within a month. I realized i could either buy a cheap bag every month or so, or i could drop some change on something that would (hopefully) last a while. That was a year ago. . The 5. 11 backpack has held up through some seriously tough conditions. It has been slung on hundreds of trucks, dropped in muddy salt water, covered in frac sand, mud, grease, and who knows what else. The 24 is the perfect size for holding all of my husband's ppe (except for the hard hat) and still has room for all the other miscellaneous junk he carries around. The separate compartments allow him to keep his dirty gear away from his water bottles and food and keep the water away from his phone and mp3 player. . The bag is stained and it smells terrible, but nothing is loose, torn, or ragged about it yet. The zippers all still work, and he's able to easily use them while wearing his thick work gloves. Nothing inside (like his really important logbooks) has ever been damaged due to a failure of the bag. We hope to get several more years out of this hard-working backpack.

P. Brenda, Havering says

A great price on this tactical backpack. It has stood up well to heavy use in alaska and we would buy it again in a second. Read through the features. This is larger than the classic backpack but not huge. Perfect for hunting, hiking, or just use by anyone who wants a hardy bag. The pockets are all useful and this is well designed.

Q. Kellie, Warwickshire

I have had this pack for a couple years and it has been a pleasure to own. There are plenty of other reviews that go into detail about the pack, so i wont do that here. But one thing this pack is missing is a waist belt. I have found that the condor 241 battle belt with a 1-1/2" web belt is a perfect combination for a waist belt on this pack. For a belt i am using the blackhawk! 1. 5 inch instructors gun belt. The best part is that you can get them to match some of the colors this pack comes in. See a video review of the pack with an attached waist belt setup on youtube under the odcaveman channel by searching for 5. 11 rush 24 waist belt. . I would highly recommend this product and someday plan to purchase its bigger brother the rush 72 to keep in my vehicle as sort of a "bug out bag" and keep this one reserved for day hikes or traveling as a carry on. The materials this bag is made out of seem very durable. The design is well thought out, there are so many compartments and pockets that you really can keep a ton of stuff in there and yet keep it all organized. Another thing to note is that at least for me, i have to keep the shoulder straps quite tight to take advantage of the yolk design of the shoulder straps. This keeps the pack riding higher up on my back and keeps the yolk closer to the back of the neck area. If you are a person who wears your pack hanging down at your ass then the design is pretty much defeated. . Also the chest straps can be easily moved around by simply taking them off of the molle. They have a break in the plastic clip that holds them to the shoulder straps to allow you to remove them and adjust them.
